Le Cosquer GitesThe farmhouse (sleeps 8) Dating from the 17th century and set in approximately 2 acres of orchard and paddock, this beautiful building retains its original features in all the rooms. There is a large lounge/dining room with a separate kitchen, a wood-burning fire, a three-piece suite, digital satellite television and also a large dining table and chairs. The separate kitchen has a dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge, and a combination microwave oven. There is a toilet and wash hand basin off the kitchen. Upstairs is the shower room with wash hand basin and toilet, and three bedrooms: a double-bedded room, a twin-bedded room, and a family room with 2 singles and a kingsize bed. Rose and Hydrangea Gites (sleeps 6) These were converted from what was a stone barn, or Longere, alongside the farmhouse. The conversion has kept and exposed the original timbers. The ground floor is open plan with a lounge/dining area which has a comfortable three-piece suite, and dining table and chairs. The corner kitchens have full-sized gas cookers, electric fridge and microwave oven. Up the straight pine stairs there is a double-bedded room, bunk-bedded room, shower and toilet. On the third floor is a twin-bedded room with an extra bed if needed. Primrose and Lavender Gites (sleep 6) At right angles to the farmhouse, these are part of a beautifully renovated stone barn with exposed timbers throughout. The ground floor is open plan with a lounge and dining area, with a three-piece suite and dining table and chairs. The corner kitchens have full-sized gas cookers, electric fridge and microwave oven. Up the oak spiral staircase there are three bedrooms: on the first floor a double-bedded room, a twin or bunk-bedded room (whichever you prefer it to be), and the shower room with wash hand basin and toilet. Up the next set of stairs is a beamed twin bedded bedroom. |
